Sebastian Vettel believes Ferrari are not as far behind Mercedes as some critics suggest, despite slipping behind Red Bull to third in the constructors standings.Having been slower than teammate Kimi Raikkonen in final practice and during the first two parts of qualifying, Vettel moved ahead of Raikkonen in Q3 to qualify fifth for Sundays Malaysian Grand Prix, albeit 0.7s down on Lewis Hamiltons pole time and behind both Red Bulls.
