Texas A&M junior linebacker Josh Walker has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest Friday in a domestic incident.Walker, 20, was arrested and charged with assault with bodily injury to a family member and interfering with an emergency request for assistance, according to the Brazos County Sheriffs Office.?Bond was not immediately set.Walker pushed his girlfriend into a rocking horse, causing bruising and swelling on her left hip, according to the probable cause statement obtained by ESPN.He stopped the woman from using her cellphone to call 911 then gave his phone to her before grabbing it and putting it in his pocket, according to the report. Walker failed to hang up the call, and the 911 dispatcher could hear a woman crying and telling someone to get off of her. There were also sounds of hitting and sounds of struggle, according to the dispatcher, before the call was disconnected.The woman also told police that Walker was throwing things in the apartment, according to the report.Walker told police that he pushed her, according to the statement, but that her feet were crossed and that is why she fell.A child was in the apartment but was not involved in the incident, according to police.Bond was set at $9,000 for the two charges -- $5,000 for the assault charge and $4,000 for the interference charge.Texas A&M said, based on athletic department policy, that Walker had been suspended immediately and indefinitely.Walker has started five games in his two seasons with the Aggies, but his role had decreased gradually over the past year and he wasnt expected to play much in 2016.
