Hilliard coached the Redskins receivers during the 2012 season, then took the same job with the Buffalo Bills this season. Hilliard has previous connections with Gruden. Hilliard was a volunteer coach with the UFLs Florida Tuskers in 2009 when Gruden was the offensive co-ordinator. Hilliard was then promoted to receivers coach in 2010 after Gruden became the Tuskers head coach. Hilliard also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2005-08, when Gruden was an assistant coach for the team. Hilliard was the No. 7 overall pick in the 1997 draft and played 12 NFL seasons with the New York Giants and Buccaneers. Conditions slowly improved but the track didnt dry out, while the afternoon session was bizarrely interrupted by a red flag when a piece of wood fell from the lighting gantry above the pit-straight. The two-metre long baton fell to the near-side of the track before being quickly removed - but it was certainly a safety scare.The first day of the second and final in-season test of 2016 finished with limited running on the intermediate tyre - though no one could get close to Alonso.
