SAN JOSE, Calif. Adidas Nmd Sko Dame . -- Marty Havlat scored three goals for the first time in nearly nine years, and the San Jose Sharks prevented Colorado from clinching the Central Division title with a 5-1 victory over the Avalanche on Friday night. Dan Boyle and Patrick Marleau also scored, and Alex Stalock made 32 saves for the Sharks, who had lost four of six to fall short in their race for first place in the Pacific Division. Patrick Bordeleau scored the lone goal for the Avalanche, who lost for the first time in regulation since March 21 against Boston. Colorado had gone 8-0-1 in its last nine games to move into a tie for first with St. Louis. The Avalanche can win the division either by beating Anaheim on Sunday night in the regular-season finale or with a regulation loss by St. Louis earlier Sunday against Detroit. Colorado needs the Ducks to lose Saturday in Los Angeles to have a chance of finishing in the top spot in the Western Conference. San Jose is locked into the second seed in the Pacific Division and will open the playoffs at home next week against Los Angeles. The Sharks moved two points ahead of Chicago in the race for home-ice advantage in a possible conference final matchup. Despite the significant stakes in the game for Colorado, coach Patrick Roy opted to give third-string goalie Reto Berra his second start since joining the team last month. The move backfired quickly as Berra allowed two goals on the first five shots he faced and was replaced by Jean-Sebastien Giguere. Boyle opened the scoring with a well-placed shot from the faceoff circle just over 3 minutes into the game. Marleau ended Berras night 10:11 into the game with a slap shot from the slot for his 33rd goal. The Avalanche got on the board late in the second when Bracken Kearns failed to clear the puck from the defensive zone, leading to a 2-on-1 down low. Maxime Talbot slid a pass to Bordeleau, who shot a one-timer into the empty net. Colorado nearly tied it after killing a high-sticking penalty to P.A. Parenteau. But Stalock stopped Parenteau on a breakaway just after he left the penalty box. Havlat sealed the game with three goals in the third for his sixth career hat trick and first since Nov. 2, 2005, for Ottawa at Buffalo. Havlat scored on a deflection, a breakaway and then added an empty-net goal with 4:56 to play. The big performance came when he was reunited on a line with Marleau and Logan Couture and one game after he was a healthy scratch in a crucial loss at Anaheim that ended the Sharks chances at a division title. The game was also notable for the Sharks because rookie Tomas Hertl returned to the ice for the first time since a knee injury in December. Hertl got a loud ovation his first time on the ice, and he generated a few good scoring chances. Both teams also lost defencemen to injuries during the game with San Joses Scott Hannan not returning after being hit high by Bordeleau in the first period. Colorados Tyson Barrie was also hit high in the first by Jason Demers. Barrie stayed in the game for the rest of the period but didnt play after that because of an upper-body injury. NOTES: Parenteau (knee) returned to the lineup after missing 15 games. ... Sharks D Marc-Edouard Vlasic sat out to rest for the playoffs. Adidas Nmd Dk . The American secured his first back-to-back ATP match wins since June to leave Tsonga relying on his performance at next weeks Paris Masters to clinch one of the final three places for the season-ending event in London. Tsonga would have moved up one spot to No. 6 with a win over Querrey at the City of Arts and Sciences, but his serve deserted him in the second set as the 116th-ranked American broke twice to reach the quarter-finals. http://www.dknmdskotilbud.com/ . Riethers apparent stamp on Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj during Saturdays Premier League match at Craven Cottage was missed by the match officials. A three-man panel of former referees reviewed the incident and all agreed that it was a sending-off offence. CHICAGO -- Chris Sale had a rare off night on the mound. Good thing for the White Sox, Jose Abreu came through again at the plate. The Cuban slugger reached base five times while extending his hitting streak to 21 games, and Chicago scored four runs in the eighth inning to beat the Minnesota Twins 10-8 on Friday night. Abreu had three singles, scored twice and drove in a run. He also walked and was hit by a pitch. The 21-game hitting streak is the longest by a White Sox player since Carlos Lees club-record run of 28 in 2004. Abreu has reached base in 10 straight plate appearances. No White Sox player has done that since Frank Thomas set a team mark of 15 in 1997. "Anything you throw up there I think hes going to hit hard," manager Robin Ventura said. Paul Konerko and Alexei Ramirez delivered consecutive RBI singles in the eighth to give Chicago an 8-7 lead. Tyler Flowers added a run-scoring single in the inning after hitting a solo homer earlier in the game. Alejandro De Aza capped the decisive rally with another RBI single, and the White Sox overcame a shaky start by Sale to win for the sixth time in eight games. "I dont have the prescience to tell you where this season is going to take us," Sale said. "But as long as we come in every day and we work hard and play like we played tonight and string some stuff together, I dont see why we couldnt be there with anybody else." The Twins had the bases loaded with no outs in the ninth against Jake Petricka when Kurt Suzuki drove in a run with a fielders choice grounder. But Petricka struck out Kennys Vargas and Oswaldo Arcia for his seventh save in eight chancces, ending a game that lasted 3 hours, 47 minutes. Adidas Nmd Dame Udsalg. "We had a lot of good things happen tonight except the end," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. The teams combined for 31 hits -- 17 for Chicago -- and spent most of the game trading leads. The Twins went up 7-6 in the top half of the eighth on a solo homer by Chris Parmelee off Eric Surkamp, only to have the White Sox answer in a big way in the bottom half. That rally made a winner of Javy Guerra (1-2), who retired the final two batters in the eighth. Sale gave up a season-high tying five runs and eight hits over six innings. Minnesotas Logan Darnell lasted just four innings in his second major league start, allowing four runs and five hits in five innings. He walked four after getting roughed up by the White Sox last Saturday. ON DECK The White Sox send Scott Carroll (4-6, 4.29) to the mound with Yohan Pino (1-3, 4.38) pitching for Minnesota. TRAINERS ROOM Twins: First baseman Joe Mauer (strained right oblique) and starter Ricky Nolasco (sore right elbow) are scheduled to begin minor league rehab stints next week. White Sox: Pitching coach Don Cooper rejoined the team after missing 11 games because of vertigo. General manager Rick Hahn had some burn marks on the right side of his face stemming from an accident with a new fire pit at his house on Monday night. NO DEAL, NO FUN Hahn said the White Sox were close to a three-team deal before Thursdays non-waiver trade deadline and was disappointed nothing materialized. "I sort of felt like the kid looking out the window with all his friends playing outside while I was inside practicing my violin," he said. ' ' '
