TORONTO -- Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J. Cheap MLB Jerseys From China .A. Happ capped a challenging season with one of his best efforts of the year. It was a performance that leaves him feeling good heading into the off-season. It also significantly raised the pressure on the Tampa Bay Rays in their pursuit of an American League wild-card spot. Happ retired 11 batters in a row at one point in Torontos 7-2 victory over the Rays on Saturday afternoon at Rogers Centre. He allowed one earned run and five hits over 7 1/3 innings. "Overall its a great way to finish for him," said Blue Jays manager John Gibbons. "He can go into the off-season feeling confident and healthy." Ryan Goins and Kevin Pillar hit two-run homers in Torontos four-run fifth inning. First baseman Ryan Langerhans scored twice and had two of the Blue Jays 12 hits. The Rays loss made things even tighter in the American League wild-card race. Tampa Bay and Texas are even at 90-71 after the Rangers beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-4 earlier in the day. Later, the Cleveland Indians (91-70) moved into sole possession of the AL wild-card lead by beating the Minnesota Twins 5-1 in Minnesota. "Weve been here before, weve been in these moments," said Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon. "We never do things seemingly easily so lets just play tomorrow and see what happens." Todd Redmond (4-2) will get the start Sunday as the Blue Jays go for the three-game sweep. "Wed like to come back and get one more win tomorrow," Gibbons said. "Thats what its all about. Wed rather be in their position, no doubt about that. But well come out tomorrow and play. Hopefully Redmond has a good one and he can finish on a good note and well see what happens. "Its good for baseball, I know that." Matt Moore (16-4) will get the pressure-packed starting assignment for the Rays. "Its resiliency to infinity," Maddon said. "You have to come out and be yourselves and go out and play." Happ missed three months of action this season after suffering a fractured skull and sprained knee when he was hit in the head by a liner on May 7. He has found his form of late after making a minor change to his delivery. "Ive been working and battling and feeling like I was close," Happ said. "I feel like finally the last several starts Ive kind of been putting it together. It feels good to end on a good note, for sure." Happ settled down after a choppy opening frame. Tampa Bays Ben Zobrist opened the game with a double off the centre-field wall. Sean Rodriguez moved him to third with a sacrifice fly and Zobrist scored on a Wil Myers single. Toronto (74-87) put runners on the corners in the bottom half of the inning but Anthony Gose grounded into a force out to end the threat. The Blue Jays looked sloppy in the second inning. James Loney hit a sky-high pop fly that dropped to the turf beside the mound. The crowd of 33,232 groaned at the miscue, which may have been caused by the bright afternoon sunshine and swirling wind. Brett Lawrie of Langley, B.C., helped lift the Toronto fans spirits later in the frame with a nice over-the-shoulder catch in foul territory for the third out. Jose Reyes reached on an infield single in the third inning and moved to third on a hit-and-run play as Lawrie drove the ball into right field. Designated hitter Adam Lind followed with an RBI single that tied the game. With the stakes high for Tampa Bay, Maddon was quick with the hook. He pulled starter Chris Archer with one out in the frame and runners on the corners. Reliever Alex Torres (4-2) got Gose to hit into a fielders choice and then struck out Goins with two runners in scoring position to keep the game tied. Langerhans opened the bottom of the fourth with a nice bunt down the third-base line and moved to second on an infield single by Pillar. Reyes drove a ball to deep left field that Rodriguez tracked down at the warning track for the second out. That brought Maddon out for another pitching change, with right-hander Jamey Wright getting the nod. Wright then walked Lawrie to load the bases and Lind stroked a single down the left-field line to score a pair. Moises Sierra struck out to end the rally. In the fifth, Goins took a 3-2 pitch just over the wall in right field for his second homer of the season. Pillars drive came on a 2-2 pitch from Brandon Gomes and barely cleared the wall in left field for his third homer of the year. Happ allowed one walk and had four strikeouts. Archer, meanwhile, allowed one earned run, five hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Toronto reliever Aaron Loup recorded two outs in the eighth inning. Dustin McGowan gave up a run in the ninth before striking out former Blue Jays shortstop Yunel Escobar to end the game. Notes: Lind returned to the lineup after sitting out the series opener with a bad back. He was clearly hobbled on the basepaths but played through the pain. ... The Rays had six hits and neither team made an error. ... The game took three hours 18 minutes to play. ... The Blue Jays improved their home record to 40-40. Fake Nike MLB Jerseys . Despite Barcelona showing the same vulnerability in defence, Messis best performance since returning from a lengthy injury layoff ensured that his side bounced back from a defeat by Valencia in the previous round. MONTREAL -- Maybe the Montreal Impact are getting used to playing without their fiery head coach Marco Schallibaum. The Impact reacted to the Swiss Volcanos latest suspension with their best performance of the season in a 5-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo. And they are hoping for another win when Schallibaum, suspended four times this season, sits out again when they face the Union in Philadelphia on Saturday night. "You never get used to that, but we were able to deal with it," midfielder Patrice Bernier said Monday. "It was our first victory with (assistant coach) Mauro Biello at the helm. "Its proof that the group is strong. The coach is there during the week, so it doesnt change the preparation. It was a nice way to answer -- that were able to perform without the coach being there. And also to show the league that it doesnt affect us to much if you knock a person out of our club." It has been an eventful first year in MLS for the former Swiss international fullback, who replaced Jesse Marsch as head coach for the Impacts second season in North Americas top league. Schallibaum arrived with a reputation for showing his emotions on the sidelines, but to see him banned four times in the first 24 games of the campaign was a stunning turn of events, to say the least. Still, it hasnt shaken managements confidence in him. The Impact (12-7-5) are in first place in the Eastern Conference, with games in hand over their closest rivals, and have qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League. The victory over Houston matched their win total of 12 for all of last season, and their 41 points with 10 regular season games remaining is only one short of their 2012 total, when they finished seventh and missed the post-season. Team president Joey Saputo, speaking after a news conference to announce the teams new charitable effort, the Impact Foundation, said he has been in talks with Schallibaums camp since July about extending his contract beyond this season. Asked if the frequent suspensions had changed his mind about keeping Schallibaum on, Saputo said "absolutely not. "When we hired him, the option to extend was based on whether we made the playoffs or not. But I was ready back in July to extend his contract because I think he brings a lot to the club." Part of it has been Schallibaums temper and part is his adaptation to the strict rules governing sideline behaviour in MLS. In Europe, coaches step onto the field to argue calls with impunity. In MLS, that draws a red card, with an automatic one-game ban. His first suspension came during a 2-0 loss in Kansas City on March 30 for squirting water at an official. The Impact tied 1-1 with Columbus with Biello coaching the next game. Then he got a game for stepping onto the field during a 2-1 win June 1 over Kansas City, and the Impact dropped their nnext game 2-0 to Columbus. MLB Jerseys China. On June 29, he lost it during a 4-3 loss at home to Colorado. The team tied 3-3 in Toronto in their next outing. The latest came during an Aug. 17 win over D.C. United, when Schallibaum went ballistic when midfielder Justin Mapp was bodychecked into a sideline television camera. This time, he got one automatic game, and the league added a second game plus a $5,000 fine for "repeated misbehaviour." And Saputo got a call from MLS commissioner Don Garber asking what was up with his coach. "Obviously when a coach is suspended a number of times, you get a call from the commissioner, but (Garber) understands that hes a very passionate coach," said Saputo. "He just has to learn how to control his emotions when hes on the field." The 51-year-old Schallibaum, who worked for FIFA as a coaching instructor before taking the Montreal job, apologized to management and to his players after the latest outburst. "What I like about Marco is the fact that hes very passionate," said Saputo. "I think hes more passionate than (sporting director) Nick De Santis and I am. "He understood. Theres no use to harp on something when the person who committed the foul understands that he was in the wrong. He apologized not only to me, but to the players. We left it at that." Biello is now 1-1-2 as a fill-in head coach. When suspended, Schallibaum continues to run practices during the week and set up the game plan, but he sits in a private box and cannot communicate with the team during a game. "To be honest. I dont think it affects us the day of the game," said goalkeeper Troy Perkins. "If they were to say he couldnt be the coach in training, it would affect you. "But come game day, were professionals. We know what to do. And the message is always the same." Against Houston, Schallibaum watched the Impacts most dominant performance of the season as they controlled the midfield and piled up goals on a top opponent. Striker Marco Di Vaio got his league-leading 14th and 15th of the season. Saputo is also hoping 37-year-old Di Vaio will be back next year. The teams first Designated Player signed a two-year contract last season with an option for two more years. But the Rome native has been dealing with an illness to a close relative this season and may elect to return to Italy. "That will weigh heavily on his decision on whether to stay or not," said Saputo. "I know hes not ready to retire. "But I know that if he wants to keep playing, he wants to play here in Montreal." The Impact hope to raise at least $500,000 per year through their foundation for programs to help needy children and families. The team and its chief sponsor BMO each pledged $100,000 per year for the next five years to the fund. ' ' '
