GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Coach Jim McElwain insists he enjoys a little chaos. If thats the case, then he really must be relishing his time at Florida. The 25th-ranked Gators have endured their share of trouble over the last two years. Between fights, suspensions, arrests, investigations and performance-enhancing drugs, McElwain has seen just about everything college football has to offer these days in a little more than 20 months on the job.Welcome to Gainesville, coach. One of the things I enjoy is the chaos, McElwain said last week. You cant simulate the chaos that goes on in a game. And yet you can use distractions, uncertainty, and use that to help hopefully strengthen you in those times when youre in those games. Our guys have handled that I think very well. Its amazing. What you hope to see happen is you dont miss a beat. You go forward and you keep working on what youve got to do to get better.Indeed, Florida has managed everything thrown its way. Theres been plenty, too, including recent incidents involving key players on both sides of the ball.Heres a look at some of the adversity McElwain and the Gators have faced:-Star cornerback Jalen Tabor and tight end Cyontai Lewis were suspended from all team activities last week for fighting in practice. McElwain also said they will have to sit out next weeks opener against UMass. McElwain said both players are expected to return to the team Thursday.-Standout receiver Antonio Callaway, who was suspended for most of the spring semester, was cleared of sexual assault earlier this month. A Florida athletics booster serving as a hearing officer found Callaway not responsible based on a preponderance of evidence. The accuser, her attorney and witnesses boycotted the hearing, saying the officer was biased because of his financial contributions to the Gators. The accuser has until Friday to appeal. Also troubling for Florida: Callaway testified he was high on marijuana at the time, and the incident is believed to have occurred just days before Florida played Alabama in the Southeastern Conference championship game.-Quarterback Treon Harris was suspended along with Callaway for his alleged role in the incident. It was Harris third suspension in two-plus years at Florida. He left school in June, deciding to transfer before the hearing.-Freshmen receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells are facing felony charges for allegedly firing BB guns into a residential hall last month. Although they are likely to get deferred prosecution as first-time offenders and serve community service, they still could be benched for the opener. Each situation is different and yet we have a sense of expectation, McElwain said. But more than that, Ive got a sense of responsibility to help each and every individual in the organization, you know, with expected behavior, ways you go about your daily work, especially in a team environment.McElwain has had plenty of guys to help since becoming Floridas coach in December 2014.Although the Gators won 10 of their first 11 games in 2015, clinched the Southeastern Conferences watered-down Eastern Division and earned the programs first trip to Atlanta since 2009, there were distractions along the way:-Cornerback J.C. Jackson was suspended in April 2015 after he was arrested and charged with felony armed robbery and burglary. Jackson was found not guilty in November and eventually transferred to Riverside City College in California. Hes now enrolled at Maryland.-Quarterback Will Grier was suspended one year in October for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. He has since transferred to West Virginia.-Cornerback Deiondre Porter was suspended indefinitely in October following his arrest for allegedly firing a gun in the direction of his pregnant girlfriend. The case is still pending. Porter was arrested again in nearby Jacksonville in April for his role in an alleged armed robbery.-Receiver Demarcus Robinson was suspended for the fourth time in his college career, this one just days before the Gators played rival Florida State. He was reinstated the following week, in time for the SEC title game, after McElwain allowed his seniors to vote on Robinsons status.-Five others served one-game suspensions in 2015: Harris, Tabor, defensive end Alex McCalister, safety Marcus Maye and receiver Latroy Pittman.Theres surely more issues ahead for McElwain and the Gators. The chaos is part of college football, at least at Florida.Coach Mac is serious, defensive end CeCe Jefferson said. You just have to do whats right. Thats what he preaches every day. Thats the message we got from him.---AP college football website: www.collegefootball.ap.org Broncos Jersesys Outlet . Barcelona also left injured defenders Carles Puyol, Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba out of its squad for the trip to Glasgow. That means that Marc Bartra will probably start again in the centre of the defence alongside Gerard Pique. If youre still playing in Week 15 of the fantasy football season, be proud. Advancing to a prime playoff spot means you worked hard to get to this crucial point. In many leagues, a victory this week will earn you a berth in the championship game. So stay the course that took you this far in most cases, and remember that all you can do is be informed and set the most ideal lineup possible. Once the games start, its on your players to execute. The best you can do is put yourself in position to win without obsessing about what you cant control -- winning when it counts takes luck in addition to the efforts youve already put in.QUARTERBACK DECISIONSQuarterback decisions this week are not easy. Drew Brees has thrown no touchdown passes and six interceptions in his past two games. Ben Roethlisberger is on the road again, where he has eight TD passes and eight interceptions. Andrew Luck has a tough matchup at Minnesota. Its not crazy to use Joe Flacco over any of those three. Flacco has two 300-yard games and six TD passes in his past two games. He faces an Eagles defense that has yielded 31.08 fantasy points per game to QBs over the past four weeks, fourth-highest in the NFL during that span. In most cases, you do not bench your star players at this time of year. But you can make an exception here with Flacco.Tom Brady also appears to have a very tough matchup against the Broncos, but he should not be reserved like Brees or Roethlisberger, who have some negative trends working against them. Brady came up big in what looked to be a difficult matchup against Baltimore last week, throwing for more than 400 yards and three touchdowns. Hell move the offense well enough to deliver at least respectable fantasy totals this week. This is a marquee matchup for Brady, and he will be prepared to deliver. Denver also has some key injuries at linebacker that could make the Broncos more vulnerable to passes to Patriots running backs and tight ends.JEFFERYS RETURNThe Bears get Alshon Jeffery back from a suspension this week, and you should re-insert him in your lineup at least as a third wide receiver or flex option. Matt Barkley has thrown frequently in two of his three starts and has not made the Bears receivers as irrelevant as feared when he first took over as the starter. Of course, do keep an eye on the weather, as windy conditions could hurt Chicagos passing game.SPEAKING OF WEATHERDont get panicky at the first sign of snow or other weather reports. If tthere is only light snow or the winds are not heavy, you should not make a hasty move to adjust your lineup.dddddddddddd Snowy conditions can play to the advantage of the offense, as defenders might have trouble getting into position when reacting to a playmaker who may be running a predetermined route or forcing a defender to react to him with a juke or cut. If you see winds below 15 mph or so, dont expect too much of an adverse effect on the passing game.GORDON OUT, FARROW INMelvin Gordon is out with a hip injury, and undrafted rookie Kenneth Farrow should be the lead runner for the Chargers in what could be a high-scoring affair with the Raiders. Farrow is a physical type who should get some goal-line chances, so roll him out as the second running back in your lineup or at a flex spot. Ronnie Hillman may get some reps, too, but Farrow is the guy you want to use, especially if you lost Gordon.JULIO JONESJulio Jones is out again this week, but Matt Ryan and the Falcons may not even need him against the likes of the 49ers. Ryan has other fantasy-friendly weapons at his disposal. The Niners allow 26.58 FFPG to wide receivers, so lock in big-play man Taylor Gabriel, and you can even consider Justin Hardy, who scored last week, in deeper leagues. Tevin Coleman can play a significant role as both a runner and receiver, and he is a terrific option as your second running back or flex option.TANNEHILL OUT, MOORE INAll may not be lost for the Dolphins offense without Ryan Tannehill. Matt Moore does not throw high-percentage passes as well as Tannehill, but he does throw downfield. Moore can make a big play, but then throw a head-scratcher of a pass. In 2011, Moore started a dozen games for Miami. In five games, he threw passes of 40-plus yards, and he threw a 30-plus yarder in eight. He had three games with three TD passes. But he was erratic and failed to throw more than one TD pass in eight starts. Moore is unreliable, but wont totally bog down the offense, and DeVante Parker should still have playmaking promise. Moore could also be a bit less shaky with Jarvis Landry as a target for him now. Dont expect the Miami offense to fall apart. Jay Ajayi should still get some chances to finish off scoring drives with TD runs.---This column was provided to The Associated Press by the Fantasy Sports Network, http://FNTSY.com Stitched NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys Outlet Disocunt Football Jerseys China Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys White NFL Jerseys Cheap China NFL Jerseys White ' ' '
