BALTIMORE -- BALTIMORE (AP) -- Carlos Santana doubled in two runs with two outs in the 13th inning, and the Cleveland Indians beat the Baltimore Orioles 8-7 Thursday night for their fourth straight victory. Pittsburgh Penguins Jerseys . Ryan Rayburn and Lonnie Chisenhall homered for the Indians, whose winning streak ties a season high. Three of Clevelands last four games have gone extra innings, including a 13-inning win over Detroit on Wednesday night. The Indians became the first team since the 2010 Angels to play two straight games of at least 13 innings, and it was the first time since 2003 that Cleveland played two consecutive 13-inning games. After two hits and a walk loaded the bases in the 13th, Santana came to plate against Troy Patton (0-1) with a .148 batting average. He pulled a sharp grounder inside the third-base line, only his third hit in 32 at-bats with two outs and runners on. Josh Outman (4-0) pitched two scoreless innings and Scott Atchison got three outs for his first save, despite giving up a solo home run to Nick Markakis. Ryan Flaherty also homered for Baltimore and Adam Jones had three hits. Orioles third baseman Manny Machado left after 11 innings with right groin stiffness. He didnt begin play this season until May 1 after undergoing off-season knee surgery. Baltimore used a five-run sixth inning to erase a 3-0 deficit, and after the Indians pulled even in the seventh the Orioles scored the go-ahead run in the bottom half without benefit of a hit. Shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera fumbled Machados sharp grounder and Jones followed with a bouncer to third. Santana threw wildly to second base trying to start a double play, leaving runners on second and third with one out. After Mark Lowe issued an intentional walk to Chris Davis, Nelson Cruz hit a sacrifice fly to make it 6-5. Chisenhall answered in the eighth with a pinch-hit homer off Darren ODay to make it 6-all. It was Chisenhalls second home run of the season, both in the last two games. Much earlier, Indians starter Justin Masterson induced three double plays over the first five innings while being pressed into action on three days rest. In the Baltimore sixth, after Steve Clevenger and J.J. Hardy delivered two-out RBI singles, Flaherty hit a 2-1 pitch over the 25-foot scoreboard in right field to make it 5-3. The advantage vanished in the seventh. With one out, Flaherty fumbled a potential double-play grounder to second base, getting an out at first that resulted in an RBI for David Murphy. Mike Aviles then chased Orioles starter Wei-Yin Chen with a game-tying single. Baltimore regained the lead in the bottom half, but it would not last in this back-and-forth duel. Raburn put the Indians up 1-0 with a solo shot in the second inning, his first home run in 51 at-bats this season. Cleveland made it 3-0 in the third when Michael Brantley tripled in a run and scored on Chens first wild pitch of the year. Next up, the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns in the AFC North. Baltimore Ravens In 2014, the 8-8 season that the Baltimore Ravens experienced was to be expected. Riley Sheahan Jersey .J. -- Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch deservedly draw the attention for what theyve done in getting the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl. http://www.hockeypenguins.com/authentic-matt-hunwick-penguins-jersey/ . - The RBC Canadian Open will return to Glen Abbey Golf Club next year, marking the 27th time that the national open championship will be played at the Oakville, Ont.Football – the ultimate team sport, no one player is more important than another. Thats likely the answer youll get if you ask a coach to single out someone whose mere presence in the lineup on any given night can affect his teams fortunes. After all, this is a sport that gave us “next man up” – a term that nicely captures the notion that everyones easily replaced. Thats well and good, but if youre the Edmonton Eskimos the reality is quite a bit different when applied to slotback Adarius Bowman. Now in his seventh CFL campaign, the 6-3, 225lbs Bowman has always tantalized with his sure hands, willingness to impose his will on smaller defensive backs, and battle for the much coveted YAC (yards after catch) yards. In Edmontons opening week win over BC, Bowman led all receivers with nine catches for 105 yards and one touchdown and served notice that Mike Reillys favorite target may not always be Fred Stamps. Bowman was so dominant that Stamps, a four time CFL All-Star with five straight seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards, was largely invisible against the Lions. Thats not necessarily a bad thing for a team that is trying to hit the reset bbutton after a 4-14 season, their worst since the wretched days of the 1960s. Paul Coffey Jersey. Eskimo GM Ed Hervey had a lengthy to do list after 2013. Upgrade (significantly) a porous offensive line, which would in turn limit the amount of time Mike Reilly spent either running for his life, or being helped to his feet by teammates or trainers. A running back who could not only run, but also block would also be nice but having Bowman on the roster more often than not would provide real dividends ... and wins. Bowmans ability has never been in doubt, but his inability to stay healthy has limited his production for a player who can put up big numbers AND help the Esks every time hes in the line-up. The numbers are definitive. In just 26 games since 2011, Edmonton is 15-11 with Bowman in the line-up … and 8–21 without. New head coach Chris Jones has already shown that hes not ‘risk averse on either side of the ball and seemingly has full confidence in Bowmans place in the offence. Were all replaceable, especially so in football, but as the Esks have discovered life with Bowman is a whole letter better than life without him.
