In 2017, Bolden was re-added to the Patriots’ 53-man roster shortly afterwards and the expectation was that the same would happen this year as well. However, it looks as if this will not be the case.According to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss http://www.newenglandpatriotsteamonline.com/kyle-van-noy-jersey , Bolden will sign with the Miami Dolphins:Bolden originally joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and has been with the team ever since. He established himself as a valuable special teams presence and emergency running back, and helped New England win two Super Bowls during his tenure. In February, he re-joined the Patriots one-year, $880,000 contract that came with little guarantees and was reflective of his status: Bolden was no lock to make the team. This is exactly what happened, as he was let go on Saturday as part of cutdowns. As opposed to last year, the Patriots apparently did not opt to bring him back – at least not on the right conditions – which is why Bolden now joins former New England wide receiver Danny Amendola in Miami.
