The report states Tim Leiweke, MLSEs CEO said the city is asking for them to enter into a lease with the Argos as part of the deal to renovate BMO Field. MLSE wants to expand BMO Field, home of Toronto FC and owned by the city, and to do so must have council approval. The Argos meanwhile, must vacate Rogers Centre – where they currently play – by 2017.
